"The book thief" by Markus zusak

What are the three colors that the narrator describes in connection to the book thief in the first pages of the book (1-15)?  What do you associate with each of these colors?  What does the narrator associate with each of these three colors?  Use at least three passages from the book to cite, one for each of the three colors.
The Three colors that the narrator describes in this story are White, Black, Red "They fall on top of each other The scribbled signature black, onto the blinding global white, and onto the thick soupy red.The last time that she saw her was red The sky was like soup boiling and stirring, In some places it was burned There was black crumbs and pepper streaked across the redness."(Zuzak,pg#12)"It felt as though the whole world was dressed in snow.Like it had pulled it on, the way you pull on a sweater.Next to the train line, foot prints were sunken to their shins, trees wore blankets of ice, as you might expect someone had died."(Zuzak,pg# 6)"Next is a signature black, to show the poles of my versatility, if you like it was the darkness moment before the dawn."I Associate with these colors because most of them have part of the reason right. The author explains the color because it associated trying to explain the natzi color!
